This sheer weightless foundation is so good that I was wondering what the secret is. I had already looked at the ingredients when I bought it to make sure there were no silicones in it because my skin hates them, and I found that the main ingredient is Octyldodecanol - “a clear, odorless fatty alcohol produced from natural fats and oils. It is stable to hydrolysis and can be used over a wide pH range.” Did Vieve discover this? Why don't other brands use it? Anyway, it applies like a dream and feels and looks wonderful all day. Perhaps the 120 is a little light for Summer so I will mix it with the next color.

I was able to purchase a perfect match with just online swatches and recommendations and it matches perfectly! Wears quite well throughout a regular day. Applies very nicely with a dense brush and I don't need much to even out my complexion (fair neutral olive, normal skin, a few blemishes). However, I'd love to see this product reformulated without the scent in the future. After I apply it, I feel some tingling in the areas where it is, since my skin is sensitive to fragrance. I don't get this sensation with non-scented makeup. I really hope this feedback is taken into account - please don't put fragrance into makeup.

Have not found a Vieve product so far that I don't like and this is no exception. I have been looking for an alternative to IT Cosmetics CC cream and this is definitely up there. Sheer coverage but I would add concealer anyway. Lasts all day, even on my oilier areas. Really like the packaging. More control than a pump bottle. Great foundation alternative.
